A high percentage of our physics majors continue on to graduate school. In a national survey, Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ ranked 12th in the nation among bachelors granting institutions in which undergraduate physics majors continued on to get a Ph.D.

Since 2000 the department has graduated 31 physics majors (3.4 per year), slightly above the national average. Of those graduates, 18 (58%) have gone on to graduate school.
