Baccalaureate

Dear Class of 2021, Faculty, and Staff,

Here are a few reminders for you for Baccalaureate. We will gather on Makuvek Field on Friday, May 7th. The ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m.

The weather forecast looks rainy, please bring umbrellas! Even in the event that it rains, we will still have the ceremony outside. Only if there is a chance of lightning will the event be virtual. You will be sent an email earlier in the day to your moravian.edu account if this is the case.

Graduates can arrive beginning at 5:00 p.m. with their guests and use the same entrances as the guests to enter the field. The graduates will wear their regalia and will seat themselves in the graduate seating section near the stage. Graduates will plan to be in their seats by 5:45 p.m. at the latest.

Guests should plan to arrive no earlier than 5:00 p.m. There will be plenty of space for everyone. Please help us maintain proper physical distancing and community safety by observing COVID-19 protocols.

Faculty and staff should plan to arrive no earlier than 5:00 p.m. Faculty and staff will enter the same entrance as graduates and guests and seat themselves in the faculty and staff section prior to the beginning of the ceremony.

For more information about parking and accomodations, please check the Baccalaureate Website.

I look forward to seeing you tomorrow!!

Sincerely,
Jennika
