Your College Search Process

Overwhelmed by what the next few months of college tours and financial aid applications will bring? Don’t be! We’ll walk you through the college search process and answer your questions at every step of the way.

1. Connect with admission counselors.

They hold the answers to all of your college search questions! And ˿Ƶ’s admission counselors are the best of the best. Connect with your student’s counselor by emailing admission@moravian.edu or calling 610-861-1320.

2. Check out the top academic programs.

It’s all about the academics! Does the college have your student’s desired major? Is there support for students who are undecided? Make sure you find out how large the program is and if your student will get any personalized attention. At Moravian, we offer more than 70 areas of study, including majors, concentrations, minors, pre-professional programs, and dual degrees. Plus, we have plenty of academic resources to help your student make a smooth transition from high school to college!

3. Visit campus for a tour.

This is one of the best ways to get to know a college. We often hear from students that a campus visit helped solidify their college choice. During a Moravian campus visit, you’ll hear from current students, meet with admission counselors, and tour our beautiful campus in historic Bethlehem, PA.

4. Review the college’s outcomes.

Because at the end of that day, you want your student to find a great job that they love or get into their dream graduate school. So what’s the career placement rate? How many students graduate in four years? And what’s the return rate for sophomore year?

We’re proud to say 96% of the Class of 2021 landed jobs or went to grad school within ten months of graduating. And 82.67% of freshmen returned to Moravian for their sophomore year in 2020. Explore all of our outcomes.

5. Consider your finances.

We know that most college decisions come down to one thing: affordability. You’re right to be cautious—college is an investment. But at Moravian, we’re committed to making your student’s private education affordable. That’s why we award $45 million in financial aid each year. And, 100% of first-year students receive some form of aid. Talk to one of our financial aid counselors today.

6. Make sure it’s safe.

College might be your student’s first time away from home. And you want to make sure they’ll be well taken care of and safe. Well, we have you covered! The ˿Ƶ Health Center is managed by St Luke’s Hospital and provides a variety of services during the fall and spring semesters. Plus, our Campus Police are always available in case of emergency or even to provide an escort home.
