The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial support to a deserving undergraduate student with demonstrated financial need and in good academic standing. Once the Fund reaches $50,000, preference will be given to an undergrad who is a resident of Bethlehem or Bethlehem Township.

Brubaker Family Foundations Endowed Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to support full-time undergraduate students in good academic standing who are experiencing housing- and/or food-insecurity without additional resources to address these fundamental needs, as determined by the Office of Financial Aid.

Preference will be given to Bethlehem Area School District (BASD) Superintendent’s Scholarship Recipients. If no incoming or currently enrolled BASD Superintendent’s Scholarship Recipients qualify, the income can be allocated to full-time undergraduate students in good academic standing who are experiencing housing- and/or food-insecurity without additional resources, as determined by the Office of Financial Aid.

More than one student can benefit annually from the income of the Fund. If students’ needs exceed the available income, the income line can be in deficit for a pre-determined time to cover immediate needs, as determined by Finance & Administration.

If funds are available after room and board are covered, they can be used for other educational supplies and necessities.

If no students meet the criteria, available funds will be carried over to support future students or, if applicable, address a past deficit.

The purpose of the Fund is to provide support for an undergraduate student with financial need who is pursuing a degree in either the Department of Economics and Business or Natural Sciences. The student receiving the award must carry a minimum GPA of 3.0 and may not be a freshman.

The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship awards to students in need with preference to those pursuing studies in nursing, pre-medical or pre-dentistry studies. Special consideration should be given to students who have demonstrated leadership and promise in their academic and career goals.

Helen S. Breidegam RN Scholarship Fund
Established in 1997 by DeLight Breidegam in honor of Helen Breidegam, the purpose of the Fund is to provide financial assistance to Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ students with first preference being given to those students who seek a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing.

Jack R. Ridge Science Scholarship Fund at Moravian
The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial assistance to Moravian students with a major in the natural sciences or mathematics, with first preference given to students majoring in Physics. Students who have not yet declared a major, but who are pursuing a course of study with the intent of a major in these fields are also eligible for the scholarship. Additionally, students pursuing related interdisciplinary degrees or double majors are eligible.

The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial support for worthy undergraduate students with a preference for music majors, including study abroad should a recipient choose to spend a term furthering his or her education at another institution.

In addition, preference will be given to a student who demonstrates active commitment to school, community or church and is a resident of Berks County.

Lester A. Miller Endowed Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial support to an undergraduate student with demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to a junior or senior student studying economics and business who realizes the importance and value of small businesses in our economy and is willing to take the risk of establishing such a business. Additional preference will be given to a student who is a U.S. military veteran, although this is not a required preference. The student must have a 3.25 cumulative grade point average to qualify for the scholarship. Should no student be identified that fully meets these criteria the scholarship should be awarded to a student who is most closely aligned with the purpose of the Fund.

Lillian Knowles Jones Vocal Performance Scholarship
The purpose of the Fund is to provide support to a deserving junior or senior voice major with a GPA of 3.0 or better. The student must be a member of the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Choir and must continue to be a member of the choir during the period of time in which he or she is the recipient of the scholarship. They must be planning a career in vocal performance as a solo performer in church, operatic stage or Broadway, must perform a Junior or Senior recital.

Linda Cohen Cooper Memorial Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial assistance to deserving students of Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ who major in a foreign language.

Louis & Esther Bader Memorial Scholarship in Chemistry
The purpose of the Fund is to provide an annual scholarship award to a Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ junior or senior who is majoring in Chemistry and who, in the judgment of the Department of Chemistry, exhibits outstanding professional and academic qualifications in preparations for a career in science.

Louise Moore Pine Music Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial aid to a deserving Music student.

Marguerite K. Strohl Scholarship
Established in memory of Marguerite K. Strohl, the purpose of the Fund is to provide financial support for a worthy student majoring in Music.

Marvin C. Miles Scholarship Endowment Fund
The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarship support for a deserving student majoring in nursing or education.

Myrtle Virginia Mack Endowed Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial support to an undergraduate student at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ with demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to a junior or senior student who is studying in the pre-law program and whose focus is upon the poor and/or downtrodden (e.g. abused spouses, children, the elderly, etc.) and not on corporations or financial institutions. The student must have a 3.25 cumulative grade point average to qualify for the scholarship. Should no student be identified that fully meets these criteria the scholarship should be awarded to a student who is most closely aligned with the purpose of the Fund. If the scholarship does not go to a pre-law student, it can be awarded to a nursing student.

Nancy A. Taylor Endowed Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial aid for two deserving undergraduates beginning in their junior year and continuing in their senior year. One student will be a major in the fine arts (including music) and the other in the sciences.

Parry ’66 & Claire Miller Endowed Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial assistance to a student with need majoring in Nursing, Biochemistry or Neuroscience.

Patrick J. Malloy, III ’80 Memorial Scholarship Fund

Preference will be given to a student majoring in Biology or Neuroscience with a solid academic achievement and continued involvement and leadership in University organizations and/or athletics.

The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship support to assist with qualified post-secondary educational expenses of eligible students during their last semester of study in preparation for a career in nursing.

The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarships for students attending Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ with documented financial needs who demonstrate academic excellence. The scholarships shall be awarded to students with an interest in pre-medical/nursing or pre-ministerial studies. Pre-medical students will be encouraged to attend a medical school approved by the American Medical Association. Pre-ministerial students will be encouraged to attend a theological school approved by the University Senate of Theological Schools. The preferred awarding method is to alternate between pre-medical or nursing students and pre-ministerial students. Students should maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or the future equivalent.

Richard DiMotta ’98 Memorial Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial assistance to a student with a first preference for students who express an interest in a Criminology major, are working part-time and who have an outstanding academic record.

Robert C. and Diane L. May Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial support to undergraduate students with a declared Music Major who have demonstrated financial need. Preference shall be given to a student who is a member of the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Choir.

The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship assistance to a nontraditional full or part-time female student majoring in Accounting.

Established in loving memory of Sara, the purpose of the Fund is to provide financial support for a deserving junior or senior majoring in English.

Sarah Van Ysselstein Endowed Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial support to an undergraduate student with demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to a junior or senior who is completing his or her Education certification. The student must have a 3.25 cumulative grade point average to qualify for the scholarship.

Schantz Music Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship support for a deserving music major each year.

Scott Opitz ’91 Endowed Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial support to undergraduate student(s) studying in a STEM major, defined as a Biology, BioChemistry, Chemistry, Math and Computer Science, Neuroscience or Physics.

Stanley F. Banach Foreign Language Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarships for students at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ who are majoring in the Foreign Language Department.

Stuart S. Kulp Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarships to a Chemistry major who plans to pursue a career in chemistry, who has completed the course in Organic Chemistry with at least a grade of B, and who is currently enrolled or has completed the required course in Physical Chemistry.

Woodrin Grossman Family Endowed Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial support in the form of at least two internships and one scholarship on an annual basis. The internships will be awarded at the discretion of the Executive Director of the Center for Career and Civic Engagement. The internships and one scholarship will go to undergraduate or graduate University students, with a preference for students who are: studying in the School of Economics and Business, with a preference to Accounting, studying in the health sciences, with a preference to Nursing. If these criteria cannot be met, the scholarship and internships should go to students with demonstrated need and good academic records.

Alexander & Elizabeth & Joann Trotsky Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Fund provides scholarship awards to graduates of Bethlehem Catholic High School, Freedom High School, or Liberty High School. Preference is given to students who are children of parishioners of Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church (417 Carlton Ave., Bethlehem, PA) and who attend Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ. The funds also support opportunities for students to participate in the University’s "study abroad" program during their undergraduate years.

Ann Woltjen Stoddard Annual Giving Scholarship
The Fund offers financial support to a student who demonstrates financial need, with preference given to students from the New England area.

Augustus J. Rampone Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Fund provides scholarship awards with preference to students residing in the NJ school districts of Newton, Sparta, Lenape, Stanhope, and Netcong.

Barnette Scholarship Fund at Moravian College
The Fund provides financial aid to deserving students, with preference first given to graduates of high schools or universities in West Virginia, and second to graduates of Liberty High School in Bethlehem, PA.

Carl Townsend Pharo Memorial Scholarship Fund
This Fund supports an undergraduate student with demonstrated financial need who resides in Northampton or Lehigh County.

Charles A. & Leona K. Gruber Foundation Scholarship Fund
The Fund provides financial support to a sophomore, junior, or senior residing in Northampton or Lehigh County, with preference for students majoring in Math, Science, or Engineering.

Charles L. & Wilma Messics Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Fund offers financial support to a deserving undergraduate student with demonstrated financial need and in good academic standing. Preference is given first to graduates of the Bethlehem Area School District, second to students pursuing a degree in Education, and third to those eligible for continued award until graduation.

DeBiasse Family Scholarship Fund
The Fund provides financial support for at least one scholarship annually, with first preference to students living in the Pittsburgh area. If no Pittsburgh area student is available, the award is open to students from Pennsylvania.

Douglas W. & Barbara B. Caldwell Scholarship at Moravian College
The Fund offers financial support to students at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ, with a preference for international students.

Edward S. Augustine Memorial Scholarship Fund
This Fund supports a deserving student who is a graduate of the Bethlehem Area School District, with first preference given to a Freedom High School graduate majoring in chemistry.

Felker Family Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Fund provides financial support to undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need. Preference is given to graduates of Upper Darby High School, those who have worked in the Culinary Department of Lima Estates in Media, PA, and graduates of any Delaware County, PA high school.

Frederic Schalbe 1908 & Harry J. Trodahl, Sr. ’30, ’33 Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Fund supports undergraduate students. When the fund reaches $50,000, preference is given to students from outside Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York whose sibling, parent, grandparent, or great-grandparent graduated from Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ. If these criteria cannot be met, the scholarship is awarded to students from outside these states.

G. Clarke Chapman & Ardis Vetesk Chapman Endowed Scholarship
The Fund provides scholarship support for Moravian students enrolled in programs leading to a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. Preference is given to international students, US students from an underrepresented ethnic minority, or students majoring in Religion.

Gail Smith Winson ’66 Scholarship Fund
The Fund awards 80-85 percent of earnings to students recruited from outside Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, or Delaware, with the remaining 15-20 percent used for student recruitment and outreach.

Jack & Karen Fry Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Fund provides scholarship support for a deserving student living in the Lehigh Valley with documented financial need, with first preference given to a student living in Fountain Hill Borough.

Lois & Merr Trumbore Endowed Physics Scholarship Fund
This Fund provides financial support for undergraduate students majoring in physics who have demonstrated financial need. Preference is given to residents of the Middle Atlantic States: Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, or New York.

Louis D. & Patricia (Cramer) Powlette Annual Giving Scholarship
The Fund provides financial support to an undergraduate student with demonstrated financial need, with preference for graduates of Stroudsburg High School, Stroudsburg, PA, or any Monroe County, PA high school.

Marian V. Hooper Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Fund offers financial aid to undergraduate students who are traditionally underrepresented on university campuses and have demonstrated financial need. Preference is given to graduates of Liberty High School in Bethlehem, PA or Nazareth Area High School in Nazareth, PA.

Maryanne Domchek Scholarship Fund
The Fund provides scholarships of no less than $5,000 to full-time undergraduate women from the Bethlehem Area School District (BASD) or Catholic schools in the Diocese of Allentown. Awardees must have demonstrated financial need, a high academic standing (top 10% of class, SAT score of 1200 or ACT score of 25), and strong leadership skills.

Richard (Dick) Krause Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund
This Fund supports undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need, with preference given to graduates of William Allen High School and Dieruff High School.

Richard E. Andrews ’62 Family Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Fund provides financial support to undergraduate students. When the fund reaches $50,000, preference is given to upperclassmen who are graduates of Freedom High School (Bethlehem, PA), Phillipsburg High School (Phillipsburg, NJ), or Easton High School (Easton, PA). If these criteria cannot be met, the scholarship is awarded to students with demonstrated need and good academic standing.

This Fund awards Frueauff Scholarships to new students demonstrating financial need. Preference is given to those ranking in the top 20% of their high school class, having combined SAT scores of at least 1100 or a composite ACT score of 25, and showing involvement in school and community activities.

This Fund supports financial aid for women returning to University as non-traditional students.

This Fund provides financial support to a deserving undergraduate student with financial need and in good academic standing, preferably for students traveling abroad for the first time.

This Fund supports an undergraduate foreign language major with financial need. Preference is given to first-generation students, students who speak English as a second language, or international students.

Formerly known as the Rev. Dr. Janice M. Young Endowed Scholarship Fund for Students in the Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling Program at Moravian Theological Seminary, this Fund now supports students in the Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling program at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ. It provides financial assistance to graduate students with demonstrated financial need and in good academic standing in the Clinical Counseling program.

Windmill Foundation Scholarship Fund
This Fund supports students attending Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ through the Division of Continuing and Graduate Studies, either full or part-time. The Fund assists individuals who demonstrate an active commitment to the community and a willingness to encourage others to pursue educational excellence.
